Assistant Operations Manager (Washington D.C., US)

Job Description

The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for walking the location to observe the physical condition and appearance of the location, the volume of business and the performance of the attendants/cashiers.

  • Daily management of parking operations
  • Responsible for creating weekly schedules and uploading into the timekeeping system
  • Check clocks and tickets for accuracy and ample supply
  • Learn to adjust and repair all equipment
  • Supervise morning/evening rush
  • Monitor the performance of all employees and provide feedback as appropriate
  • Train associates at the location, including all operational procedures and policies
  • Read and review all operational manuals and complete all onsite training
  • Assist with employee reviews
  • Manage day to day operations when manager is not on property

Position Type

  • Full Time - Permanent

Requirements

  • Requires 2-year college degree (or equivalent combination education and experience)
  • 2 years supervisory/mgmt experience preferred
  • Must have knowledge of basic accounting; some knowledge of business; flexible schedule
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and great customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills are required in order to gather and summarize data for reports
