Parking Revenue Service Technician

Position Summary

  • The Field Service Technician will provide technical services to our customers on a full-time basis. The position will focus on all aspects (troubleshooting, maintenance and installation) of computerized parking and access control systems daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical service of automated parking systems
  • Cover the airport on weekends to ensure we meet the contractual service requirements.
  • Minimal Travel will be required
  • Assist with project set-up, installation, and customer training
  • Become knowledgeable and technically proficient with the Amano McGann products and software
  • Provide On-Call after-hours and weekend emergency service as required by our customers (in rotation with our other technical staff)
  • Work over time as needed
  • Assist our sales staff in promoting the sale of new equipment where appropriate
  • Note: These key responsibilities are general in nature and may be augmented with additional duties as determined by the needs of your manager.


The applicant should have a clean driving record and pass a background check. They should be self-starting, goal oriented individuals that can work with mínimal supervision. Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and a OHM/voltage meter is a requirement. We also require that our technicians can lift 60 pounds, be comfortable working outdoors, and can stand for extended periods of time.

We are looking for a person that is familiar with PC’s, peripherals, and PC operating systems such as Windows7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2014. The applicant should also be familiar with Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word.
We are seeking a candidate that is familiar with networking. CompTIA Network+ is preferred. This would include familiarization with CAT5 cabling, SM and MM fiber, managed and un-managed switches, routers, firewalls, and media converters.

In addition to the qualifications above, we are looking for someone with experience in troubleshooting serial, wireless, cellular, and TCP/IP communications.

  • Tools & Equipment - We provide all tools and test equipment required for your job. Tools and equipment that are damaged through normal wear and tear are replaced at the company’s expense. Tools or equipment that are lost or damaged as a result of carelessness or abuse is the responsibility of the technician.
  • Work Clothing - We provide shirts with our company logo to help create a professional company image. We may also provide certain other protective outer-clothing that is job related. Your manager or supervisor must pre-approve any work clothing purchases.
