  • Salary range: £41,025 - £43,815 p.a. inc.
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours of work: 36 hours per week
  • Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time

The Post

Brent’s Parking and Lighting service delivers parking, enforcement, street lighting and trees maintenance services across the borough. We need an experienced manager to manage the Parking Contract Operations team, ensuring that the outsourced Parking Services contract is delivered effectively and within the agreed budget parameters. This includes monitoring of financial and performance data, ensuring that the contractor delivers services to required standards, and for the development and improvement of the parking service offer. Your key focus will be civil enforcement of parking and traffic offences, and the parking permit offer to residents and other customers.

The Person

An experienced parking professional with excellent contract management, people and stakeholder management skills. You will have excellent analytical skills, experience of managing budgets, improving services and managing a team, and comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders. A sound knowledge of the statutory legal framework for civil enforcement of parking and traffic offences, local authority parking and traffic management policies, and developments within the parking sector are essential
