Team Business Development at EVBox is focused on educating stakeholders and building partnerships to drive towards a zero-emission future.

For our team at EVBox North America, we’re looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager who will be responsible for all sales through appointed reseller/distributors and large direct accounts, in order to meet sales quota. Create new business opportunities and nurture existing partners and customers.

Location: Strategic US geographies (US NorthEast, US Southeast, Northern California, Southern California)

Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Act as the first point of contact for reseller/service provider partners in North America
  • Develop and maintain a customer and prospect database
  • Develop, expand and maintain the reseller and partner channel, create cross- and deep-sell opportunities
  • Create and execute account plans
  • Support clients in sales activities
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activities
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
  • Build lasting and strong relationships with partners and customers and keep client knowledge up-to-date
  • Closely coordinates company executive involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate
  • Respond to and follow up sales and information inquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits
  • Focus on developing new customers and new initiatives for existing customers
  • Create appropriate propositions based on sales and acquisition plans
  • Participate in creating successful implementation plans for new business initiatives and grandfather them in the sales processes

Development:

  • Develop and maintain sales tools, training and other instruments to ensure successful sales
  • Organize product and sales training
  • Develop new sales strategies and evaluate their effectiveness in the market
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts

Sales Administration:

  • Provide sales forecasts
  • Analyze and anticipate market developments from a commercial point of view
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties

Requirements

Qualification and experience:

  • Bachelor/Master level
  • 7-10 years’ experience in working with distributors and/or an indirect sales mode and experience with short sales cycles
  • Experience with B2B sales or indirect channel management experience
  • Experience with sales CRM Experience in different sales techniques

Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge or willingness and ability to quickly acquire knowledge about EV charging market
  • Affinity with renewable technologies, product and service innovation
