Partner Manager - New Markets (Amsterdam, NL)

As Partner Manager - New Markets you will train, support and facilitate the success our value added resellers and service partners (Partners) in New Markets (outside Western Europe and North America). You will work from our office in Amsterdam and you will report directly to the Director of New Markets.

Responsibilities:

Pre-sales

  • Create documentation and supporting materials for partners' technical and commercial development
  • Assess product-market fit for new markets
  • Evaluate compliance against tender requirements
  • Working closely with business development managers (BDMs) on proposals and pitches for new business
  • Keep track of market trends and requirements, and assess competitive positioning
  • Working closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions whilst ensuring that the company’s product can deliver on the customer’s requirement
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals

Sales

  • Support BDMs in developing new customers and new initiatives for existing customers
  • Attending client meetings and acting as a subject matter expert
  • Developing business opportunities in cooperation with BDMs and partners
  • Develop and maintain business development and sales tools to ensure successful sales
  • Work with partners to create and capture cross- and deep-sell opportunities

Partner development and training

  • Develop training material and documentation for partners' sales and technical resources
  • Deliver product and sales trainings, in person and via web conferences
  • Inform partners about technology and product updates
  • Build productive relationships with partners and customers
  • Continuously assess partners' quality of delivery

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master in Engineering
  • 4+ years’ experience in working with distributors and/or an indirect sales mode and experience with short sales cycles
  • Experience with B2B sales and/or partner management
  • Experience with with development and delivery of technical trainings

Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge or willingness and ability to quickly acquire knowledge about EV charging
  • Affinity with renewable technologies, product and service innovation

Skills:

  • Effective inter-cultural communication skills
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Commercial insight
  • Outgoing mindset and ability to build a network
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to make market positioning and value proposition tangible
  • Speak customer, sales and “business partner language"
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English, including experience in high-level business discussions & negotiations. Another language is a plus
