The Parking Service Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Council’s Parking Service.
The Parking Service Manager is responsible for an expenditure budget of £2.3m including a contract to the value of £2m per annum and income of £8m.
Day-to-day the service monitors the performance of the Council Parking Enforcement Contractor who are responsible for all aspects of enforcement, notice processing, permits and suspensions. The service also manages complaints and casework which involves regular engagement at a political level.
Strategically the service works with a number of internal and external partners to develop the Council parking services across the borough to meet the changing requirements of residents and businesses.
