Stanley Robotics is a highly ambitious robotics start-up launched in January 2015. Set to revolutionise the car-parking world with an automated valet service, our robots can move any vehicle. We don’t just want to make the experience of car parking better; we want to get rid of it altogether! Already seeing strong growth with several key accounts (car parking providers), Stanley Robotics has raised equity from big name investors and is rolling out in 2018 several large-scale projects.
We are looking for a passionate and innovative Quality Assurance Engineer who will strengthen our Mechatronics team.
Sébastien and his team need you drive a Quality Assurance programme within Stanley Robotics, and in particular in the mechatronics area.
A/ Target of first 6-months will be to qualify our robot Stan and to ensure compliance of any new version with the CE certification.
You will help the product team and especially the mechatronics team to gather every documents and instructions to have a safe and marketable robot with the CE label.
You will be in charge of :
Advising the design team of the robot about complying with the CE label (in accordance with the Machinery Directive, NF EN ISO 13849-1…).
Completing the risk analysis.
Creating a technical file directory (get together mechanical, electrical, pneumatics drawings, description and soft architecture).
B/ In a second phase and within 12 months, you will have defined and set up the Quality Assurance Plan of Stanley Robotics (and installed related monitoring processes).
You will propose improvements to be brought to the organisation & processes. You will train and motivate the team to quality management methodology and tools.
The market of Stanley Robotics (airport operations) is a world of very high service levels. Your role will be key for the success of our company.
A development to a Leadership position in Quality is possible in the mid-term according to experience & performance.
We are looking for a passionate and meticulous quality engineer with good expertise in European standards for autonomous devices and an experience in machinery certification and industrial processes.
M.Sc or equivalent degree in Engineering.
>5 years in the quality functions (development of new products).
Exposure to multiple functions across R&D and Industrial Operations.
Demonstrated knowledge in quality and design development systems:
Writing of a details file for CE certification,
Robust process Risk management and requirement management tools.
QA Tools: FMEA, Ishikawa, fall tree, audits..
Ability to operate in an international, cross-company and cross-functional environment.
Being in contact with numerous teams, you have a great sense of communication both written and verbal.
Proficiency in English and French is required.
A strong desire to work as a team: overall success is more important than individual success.
