CAR PARK KATWOLDER SQUARE ZWOLLE

With the construction of a new car park at Katwolder Square, Zwolle City Council wants to meet an increased demand for parking.
Bolidt was contracted by construction firm BAM to install the flooring in the new car park and provided advice on how to prevent problems due to the formation of cracks in the concrete subfloor caused by thermal stress.

CAR PARK VREDENBURG P5 UTRECHT

Included in the renovation is the construction of the Vredenburg P5 car park: a five-level underground facility. With the increase in Hoog Catharijne’s retail space, Vredenburg P5 will be used even more intensively. The parking surfaces must, therefore, be long-term resistant to high volumes of vehicle and foot traffic. That is why real estate company Klépierre chose the Boligrip® flooring systems. These extremely hard-wearing synthetic floor finishes from Bolidt have been specially developed for different parts of the Vredenburg P5 car park, making them user friendly and very attractive in terms of maintenance.

BIKE PARK HOOG CATHARIJNE UTRECHT

Bike Park Hoog Catharijne will have space for 12,500 bicycles and will be the largest bike parking facility in the world. The number one priority in Bike Park Hoog Catharijne: the safety of its users. Bolidt recommended giving the cycling lanes a non-slip finish. This prevents cyclists from slipping. The pedestrian routes and parking spaces also received a slip-resistant finish for the same reason. It was decided to choose the durable Boligrip® flooring systems.

CARPARK KRUISPLEIN ROTTERDAM

The Kruisplein underground car park opposite Rotterdam’s renovated Central Station is the deepest car park in the Netherlands. Bolidt’s application specialists worked up to 20 metres below sea level to provide the five parking levels with a sturdy surface course including several colour features.
