Cale is expanding in France
Cale Group hereby announces the establishment of a new subsidiary in France; Cale SAS.
Cale, founded in 1955 and specialised in products for on-street parking solutions as well as equipment for other unattended payment purposes, has become one of the leading suppliers of advanced and flexible pay terminals in the world.
Since 2004, Cale Group is under the sole ownership of the Swedish group, Mellby Gård, a privately owned international industrial group, comprising about ten trading and industrial companies.
The foundation of Cale SAS is a consequence of Cale's long term expansion strategy to establish subsidiaries in all key markets. Cale finds it very important to be able to - with own local presence - provide parking solutions and services throughout one of Europe's largest on-street parking markets.
Cale's CEO, Mr Torkel Härdeman, also announces the appointment of José Edo as the Managing Director of Cale SAS. "I am very pleased to welcome José Edo as the leader of this new organisation. José brings a true recognised and successful experience as business developer within the parking arena since more than 15 years, from Schlumberger to Parkeon, not only in France but towards Europe and Latin America", says Mr Härdeman.
Cale SAS' Managing Director, José Edo states: "I am very excited about the prospects for this new subsidiary as the French market gathers significant opportunities towards extension and replacement programs and great customer expectations in the field of value-added services.

With the experience Cale has gained over the years, Cale is today in a position where the company's products have been installed in over 40 countries world-wide. Cale Group already has subsidiaries in Norway, the United Kingdom, Canada and Germany.
