Cale September Release – New products and functionality available

Cale is proud to present its September 2012 release where we launch an array of new product accessories and functionality for our CWT terminals as well as for our back offi ce system Cale WebOffice 2.

A new face and improved serviceability for the CWT Compact

The CWT Compact is now available with an aluminium front, the modular design of the door allows our customers to easily reconfi gure the terminal with new functionality. With this new door, we also re-introduce a well know and liked Cale feature, the swing out printer which helps maintenance staff to easily change the
printer roll in the terminal.

Cale goes Contactless

The Cale Contactless Card Solution offers a fl exible contactless payment solution for our customers and their end-users. Contactless cards can be set up with an e-purse or contracts such as a day pass or monthly permit. The solution opens up for integration with customers’ existing contactless solutions and also supports already
available features such as the Cale patented electronic lock access and Online Permit Account.

The Cale Top Hat – Front illumination and audio for the CWT Compact

The Top Hat solution integrates light, audio, antenna and a solar panel into one accessory for the terminal. Our existing solar panel solution will remain in production for customers not in need of front illumination.

Upgrades for current customers

For customers with an already installed base of MPC terminals, CWT Compact upgrade kits are available to make sure you can benefi t from new and innovative functionality without buying a whole new terminal.

Improved Terminal Map and other functions in CWO 2

In this release we have extended the functionality for the popular Terminal Map feature in CWO 2. It allows the user to see the exact location and status of every terminal in both map and street view. Our autumn release also includes CWO 2 support for the highly appreciated MP 104 Pay By Space functionality.

In order to increase the security of credit card data handling in CWO 2 and to comply with updated PCI requirements, we have upgraded the RSA Encryption of Credit Card data from 1024 to 2048 bits encryption.
