Total Parking Solutions Surpasses 500 Cale Pay Stations Installed

Cale America Inc., a leader in unattended payment solutions, has announced that its distribution partner, Total Parking Solutions (TPS) now has more than 60 municipal, campus and private parking operators utilizing more than 500 pay stations manufactured by Cale to collect parking and transit fees.

Total’s latest additions to its municipal portfolio include the cities of Aurora and Evanston, Illinois and Whiting, Indiana. A commitment to outstanding service and support has been a common reason cities choose TPS.

“We tell all of our customers the same thing,” explained Joe Smith, President of Operations and Co-Owner of Total Parking Solutions. “Our whole focus is on making sure we understand our customers’ needs and then making sure they are taken care of, every day. Parking technology is our expertise, but service is our passion.”

Total Parking Solutions is Cale America’s largest distributor, and exclusively offers Cale payment technology including the Cale WebTerminal (CWT) configured for Pay by Plate, Pay by Space or Pay and Display parking enforcement. Additionally, many of the parking pay stations for the Metra train station lots in Chicago suburb cities are provided and maintained by TPS.

The City of Crystal Lake, Illinois, has been a TPS customer for the past decade. George Koczwara, Finance Director for Crystal Lake, said that TPS’ support has been essential the city. “Anyone can sell equipment but the key is maintaining that equipment,” said George. “For the past 10 years, Total Parking Solutions has been an important partner in our successful downtown commuter parking program.”
