First steps in Norway

CUR is growing the business in Norway. Since we are looking for feasible and comfortable solutions for our customers, we are working with our Norwegian partner NorTronic. Trained by CUR, they are well-provided with the know-how for design, installing and commissioning of our components in the car park. Furthermore, the client obtains a local 1st level support executive.

With this strategy, the initial projects in Norway had been possible. In the south of Stavanger, the biggest combined car dealer of Norway is situated: Kverneland Bil. For the big amount of daily customers, employees and last but not least new cars, a big garage was needed.

In order to avoid frustrated and stressed customers and to find the new cars quickly, an intelligent parking guidance system was installed. Thanks to big outdoor information displays at every entry, the driver can decide right away, which one of the two floors is preferred. Equipped with automatic brightness control, an optimal visibility is ensured – regardless of weather conditions of a coastal region in Norway.

Inside the car park, 210 maintenance free ultrasonic sensors show the current occupancy status. They all include the 3-colored integrated signalization. Besides the intuitive red and green standard signals, also a yellow status for VIP reservations or to show the place of the unsold cars, can be made by the customer.

Controlled by Visual Control Center software (in short: VCC), the customer obtained a reliable server/client based control instrument for the car park.

Through this and other new projects, CUR gets more and more recognized as a reliable supplier for parking guidance systems in Norway. The high quality of our easy installable components and many possibilities for individual solutions - combined with an international network of partners will bring a deeply contented solution to the customer.
