Kathrein RFID expands test center

In addition to the existing UHF measurement and analysis facilities, Kathrein RFID have now set-up a new 3D antenna testing facility at the Amerang site.

The 7 m x 3 m x 3 m large anechoic chamber allows measurement of all antenna parameters with high repeat and measurement accuracy. Due to high-frequency generators, signal generators, frequency analysers and a specific control and analysis software, measurements can be performed fully automatically. Results and data models of RFID simulation software can thereby be monitored more quickly and precisely.

This 250,000 € investment will allow Kathrein RFID to considerably increase their efficiency in the evelopment of RFID systems, consolidating their position as the leading operation in complete UHF RFID systems.
