MobileNOW! Goes Live June 1st in Downtown Indianapolis with Denison Parking

MobileNOW!, a global technology innovator and world’s first mobile payment solution for parking, has successfully launched mobile payments in five downtown Indianapolis, IN locations managed by Denison Parking, a trusted private parking operator in business for nearly 100 years.

Denison Parking has more than 120 widespread U.S. locations. MobileNOW! anticipates expanding mobile payment options in Denison operations, starting with surface lots in Indianapolis.

“Denison Parking is always looking for opportunities to provide our customers more options and solutions to pay for parking,” said John Hedge, Senior Operations Manager at Denison Parking, Inc. “MobileNow! allows us to provide this convenience to our customers.”

The MobileNOW! platform fully integrates with NuPark, a license plate recognition (LPR)-based total parking management solution. Parkers will use their license plate numbers to manage monthly or flat rate daily parking permits.

“We are thrilled to partner with Denison Parking and NuPark to boost parking convenience in downtown Indianapolis,” said John Oglesby, MobileNOW! President and CEO. “Indianapolis is host to many major sports and entertainment venues, and MobileNOW! gives Denison the ability to be even more nimble and flexible with rate changes during special events.”

The MobileNOW! payments for parking are available Denison locations near popular local attractions including Circle Centre Mall, the historic Monument Circle, Lucas Oil Stadium (home to the Indianapolis Colts), Bankers Life Fieldhouse (home to the Indianapolis Pacers), and the Indiana Convention Center.

Oglesby added, “We look forward to Indianapolis merchants leveraging our merchant validation program, where local merchants can reward patrons by paying for a portion or all of a customer’s parking expense easily through the MobileNOW! app.”

About Denison ParkingDenison Parking logo

Denison’s history dates back to the late 1920s when Indianapolis businessman, William C. Griffith, purchased the Denison Hotel at a busy corner in the City’s downtown area. This bustling commercial area soon began to draw people traveling via a relatively new invention — the automobile. Soon, the demand for parking overtook its short supply. Mr. Griffith made a daring decision to raze most of the old hotel and develop one of the first paid parking facilities in the country. He named his new parking company Denison Parking after the landmark hotel that once occupied that site.

Today, Denison Parking provides an array of trusted parking management solutions by seasoned experts in more than 80 locations across the United States.
