Maryland Live! Casino Chooses Park Assist’s M4 Smart-Sensor Parking Guidance System

Park Assist has been awarded the Parking Guidance System (PGS) contract for Maryland Live! Casino, located in Hanover, Maryland. The casino is built on a property that is shared with a shopping mall and is open 24/7 all year round. The six-story parking garage is in the midst of a high traffic area for casino patrons as well as shoppers of the nearby mall. By guiding drivers to available spaces in a quick and effortless manner Park Assist has helped Maryland Live! relieve congestion and stress for it’s guests. The variety of elegant signage complemented the technology solution and added to the luxurious experience of this facility while displaying real-time parking availability for visitors, and expediting the process of parking and navigating.

With guidance to over 3,100 spaces throughout the garage, the M4 smart-sensors with dual cameras are installed above the driving lane to monitor a pair of spaces on each side. This unique vantage point allows garage operators experience an unobstructed view of the parked vehicles – while providing drivers with clear sight lines for easy guidance and navigation. The centralized command portal connected to Park Assist technology through powerful APIs enables the facility operators to ensure the smooth process and provide them with precise insights. Maryland Live! visitors will also be able to take full advantage of this sustainable and intelligent parking guidance solution with Park Assist’s Find Your Car™ feature via Park Assist’s mobile app, further improving the complete customer service experience at the facility.

An additional project objective at Maryland Live! was to increase security at the Casino due to the high volume of visitors. To accomplish this task, Park Assist’s Park Surveillance™ tool will be providing parking garage operators with continuous streaming footage of a 360 degree view of the garage. Park Assist’s Park Alerts™ feature enhances the security technology through enforcement of parking policies and informing operators of the arrival of VIP parkers or unwanted vehicles enabling them to take swift action.
