Wizz Air renews contract with ParkCloud

ParkCloud can announce today that Central and Eastern Europe’s largest airline, Wizz Air, has chosen to extend its airport parking contract following three successful years of collaboration. ParkCloud is the exclusive provider of parking reservation services to Wizz Air’s 16 million passengers.

ParkCloud initiated the partnership in summer 2012, with the launch of parking services at 26 of the low cost carrier’s airports; today, some 170 different parking locations are available across 24 countries. Over the same period, Wizz has grown substantially, carrying 2.5 million more passengers in the last year alone.

Wizz Air has announced a raft of new routes since the start of 2015, and is flying for the first time from several airports in the UK including Bristol, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Belfast, alongside its existing scheduled departures at Luton, Liverpool and Doncaster.

In addition to parking, ParkCloud allows customers to pre-book complementary services at many airports including car valeting and washing, security “fast track” access, and meet and greet parking directly at an airport terminal. ParkCloud’s offer to the airline’s passengers extends from Reykjavik in the west to Moscow in the east, together with the vast majority of its destinations and bases in between, including for example, Budapest, Prague, Poznan, Bucharest and Sofia.

ParkCloud’s Managing Director Mark Pegler commented, “As ParkCloud’s longest-standing strategic partner, we are delighted that things are going so well with Wizz Air. We’ve considerably expanded the airports and services offered since the start of our collaboration, finding that customers have responded very well to the extra choice, as well as the recently-launched, more accessible website. We are very happy to continue our development as Wizz Air’s partner.

Tibor Török, Revenue Development Manager at Wizz Air said, “We are pleased to confirm our contract extension with ParkCloud and are looking forward to our co-operation for several years to come.
