In 2010, four big French cities renew their confidence in Parkeon to achieve their parking projects: Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Bordeaux. During the last few months, Parkeon  has won  bids in four of the largest cities in France:

Lyon

Parkeons partner for nearly 10 years, the city of Lyon has the second largest pay and display terminals park of France, after Paris. Early in 2009, the city of Lyon launched a tender for an extension of paid parking over three years concerning 10,000 extra parking slots. With five candidates to choose from, the city chose Parkeon to supply 500 to 600 parking terminals.

Marseille

The city of Marseille and its operator Q-Park has worked with Parkeon since 2005, when the city launched the paid parking.  With an installed base of 600 parking terminals, the city wanted, in 2009, to expand its paid parking area in four districts, i.e. 4,000 additional places. For this extension, 250 parking terminals with credit card payments were commissioned.

Montpellier

In 2009, the city notified the operator of parking TAM Stationnement that they  wanted  to work again with Parkeon in order to implement credit card payments on most of its park i.e. 424 terminlas. The commissioning of this option is scheduled for April 2010.

Bordeaux

The city of Bordeaux chose Parkeon in 2001 to supply  284 parking terminals and 90 additional units in 2005. The city again trusted Parkeon in 2009 to expand its park including the installation of a hundred machines over 4 years.
