Parking space at last for Lille Hospital!

Parkeon puts in place pay parking for the hospital. When patients, visitors and staff go to Lille University Hospital, they can at last expect to find a space to park their cars.
By deciding to regulate parking with the help of a global off-street parking solution designed by Parkeon, the hospital has solved its problem. The car parks are no longer unjustifiably occupied by commuters who want to take the Metro. Now, more than twenty enclosed car parks with barriers and fee collection systems have been set aside for the users of the hospital.
Lille Hospital has selected the solution from Parkeon as it was looking for a turnkey system including fee collection, intercoms, CCTV and dynamic guidance and also civil engineering works. And all of that was to be completed in a single handover, with a very tight schedule.

Parkeon was able to rise to the challenge in partnership with three companies - Forclum for the network and intercom system, Sinovia for CCTV and Appia for construction work. The first nine car parks were fitted out in less than 10 weeks.

In all, Parkeon installed 46 entry/exit gates and 9 automatic pay stations spread over all the car parks. All the machines are centralised and remotely controlled using remote management stations in different premises.

Parkeon has also put in place 75 bonus devices to allow patients and visitors to benefit from preferential tariffs.
Also, the life of hospital staff is made easier by the fact that they can use a single card for different functions such as clocking on and off, accessing computers, using the canteen facilities and car parks.

Parkeon has now supplied parking solutions to two clinics in Lille and the main hospital, once again showing how its competencies can be leveraged for the benefit of its customers and their users.
