Parkeon Delivering User Friendly Parking System To Rehoboth Beach

When visitors head to the popular beach destination of Rehoboth Beach, DE this year, they will find that parking has gotten much simpler. The City is implementing a new Pay by Space parking system delivered by Parkeon, the global leader in multi-space parking meter systems.

Just in time for what is expected to be a busy Memorial Day Weekend, Parkeon and its local distribution provider, Keystone Solutions and Integrations, will be installing 50 new solar powered parking kiosks. The kiosks are very user friendly, featuring a 7" full color display screen, quickly guiding users through their parking transactions. Customers will have the option of receiving a proof of payment receipt at the end of their transaction, a feature that was not available on the kiosks being replaced.

Enforcement of the new parking system will be done wirelessly through web enabled handheld devices. The status of each space, whether paid or unpaid, is visible to enforcement officers whenever they query the Parkeon system.
