Q-Park Cooperates with Saarbahn and Further Expands Urban Mobility in Saarbrücken

- Saarbrücken, Germany
Urban Mobility in Saarbrücken

Advancing the networking of local public transport and private car use in a meaningful way is the main goal of the recently agreed cooperation between Q-Park and the Saarbahn. Until at least the end of 2023, Saarbahn customers will benefit from reduced long-term parking rates in selected parking areas of the parking manager.

In the "Q-Park Hauptbahnhof" car park, Saarbahn annual subscribers with a "7x24" subscription can park in a permanent space for a monthly price of 95 instead of 118 euros. Or secure up to 150 hours of parking time for 75 euros a month with the "Flex 150" tariff. With the same tariff, Saarbahn customers have the opportunity to park their vehicle in the “Q-Park Dudweilerstrasse” car park for only 50 euros per month.

Q-Park maintains a total of 13 parking facilities with modern parking technology in Saarbrücken. Thanks to the Q-Park app and license plate recognition, contactless parking is possible in Saarbrücken. The Q-Park locations are mostly located in strategically important places, in the immediate vicinity of the city center or with a direct connection to the Saarbahn stops. In this way, customers can easily switch from their own car to public transport. In addition to long-term parking subscriptions, customers also have the option of booking a parking space via the Q-Park website.

All that Saarbahn subscribers need to take out a Q-Park subscription is a fare receipt as proof. This is available from the Saarbahn Service Center at Nassauer Straße 2-4 in Saarbrücken.
