Martin Hughes, Managing Director of Scheidt & Bachmann (UK) for some 19 years has announced that he is leaving the company to pursue new challenges.
During his tenure, the wholly owned subsidiary emerged from a small start-up to its current positionas a major player in the UK parking systems industry with a significant presence in all market sectors.
Taking over the helm from Hughes is his long serving Sales Director Alan Grix who has been at the forefront of developing new system sales with S&B nationwide since 2000.
Hughes said: “I’m delighted to have helped establish & build the Scheidt & Bachmann brand in the UK to its current position. I would like to thank all my staff for their hard work and loyalty over the last 19 years and our growing base of customers, many of whom are now operating their 3rd successive S&B system. I wish them well for the future and am very pleased to hand over to Alan who is the ideal person to lead the Company through its next stage of development.”
Alan said: “I've thoroughly enjoyed working with Martin in a relationship which goes back to the early ‘90’s. I’m excited at the prospect of developing the company from its current firm foundations and delivering our new digital solutions for the benefit of the UK Market in our next period of market growth.”
