Stanley Robotics: Launching “Stan” Valet Robots Powered By Private 5G

Stanley Robotics, a world leader in automotive robotics solutions for parking lots, and ORAXIO Telecom Solutions, an innovative company specializing in wireless communications technologies, are pleased to announce their strategic partnership to strengthen the deployment of the technology Private5G on robots for automated parking located at Lyon Saint Exupéry airport.

This collaboration between Stanley Robotics and Oraxio marks a significant step in the optimization of the robot parking system, deployed at Lyon Saint Exupéry airport, which simplifies parking operations and improves the traveler experience. By integrating private 5G with existing infrastructure, the two companies are deploying an opportunity for ultra-fast, reliable and secure connectivity between robots and infrastructure to meet the specific needs of managing a fleet of robots.

Private 5G will enable Stanley Robotics to develop and deploy even more advanced, and significantly larger, automated parking solutions, up to 100 robots in parallel. This will open the way to new markets, whether in car parks or for automotive logistics.

Meanwhile, Oraxio brings its expertise in secure private 5G networks, ensuring robust connectivity andlow latency to support Stanley Robotics' operations in the airport parking. This collaboration will also explore innovative new applications of 5G, such as high-definition video surveillance for supervision or on-site human location and detection, to further improve operational efficiency and security.
