Swarco signs cooperation with city of Yerevan
On February 10th, 2011, SWARCO and the City of Yerewan signed an agreement to form a joint-venture company with the objective to introduce new systems and technologies in the fields of parking management and street lighting in the Armenian capital.
The contract concluded over a minimum period of five years allows optional extensions with regard to public transport and traffic management solutions.Initially the focus will be on on-street parking machines and LED-based street lighting from SWARCO. "Yerevan's Mayor Karen Karapetyan intends to better organise parking in the city and is also convinced that the streets of Yerevan can be better or more efficiently lit with LED lights made in Austria", says SWARCO CEE coordinator Albin Leismüller.
