TagMaster wins major contracts in Kansas City

The company’s RFID system is part of a US$200 million plan that aims to move 5,000 local Internal Revenue Service (IRS) workers downtown and redevelop the old Main Post Office.

When the project is completed, the TagMaster AVI system will provide hands free access control to 4,000 permanent and 2,000 seasonal IRS workers from seven locations throughout the metropolitan area.

Approximately 2,500 commercial vehicles will be equipped with TagMaster’s RFID tags for use in the two parking sites. Automation of the parking fee collection and access control will allow parking revenues to be maximized by reducing manual labour costs and optimising parking space usage.
