Total Parking Solutions to monitor Lincoln Hospital Parking

After an exhaustive tendering process, Total Parking Solutions (TPS) have been chosen as the parking management operator for United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust.

From June 2012, TPS will be covering the parking management at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston along with Grantham & District Hospital and the Lincoln County Hospital. Managing Director, Tito Ponzetta confirmed "We are delighted to have been chosen by the ULH to manage their respective hospitals' parking areas. We look forward to a long partnership with the Trust".

Therefore, new parking arrangements at the Lincoln Hospital parking facility, including fines for misues of the parking facilities are implemented in order to control the traffic within the car park better, and stop, for instance, inappropriate parking causing obstructions or hazards.

Mike Speakman, Director of Facilities Management, said: ”All our sites have experienced problems in the past due to inconsiderate parking and some people using our car parks inappropriately.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to improve our parking facilities for all drivers, the ability to issue parking charge notices is a necessary step to ensure our sites remain safe and that a minority of drivers do not cause problems for the majority who park properly.

“It’s very much the same system that is found in most public car parks across Lincolnshire already.”

TPS will also be working alongside ULHT at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston and Grantham District Hospital.
